Joanna Gaines is my jam. There is no doubt that my entire upbringing was surrounded by all things Farmhouse. That’s probably because I grew up in a farmhouse. My petite home was one that my grandfather built, one that my mother was raised in and one that sat on 20 acres of land. It was the best playground a child could hope for and carried the style aesthetic of my mother, authentic farmhouse.
My mom was farmhouse before farmhouse was cool.

I do understand the appeal of design that’s very clean lined and modern. However, these spaces always leave me feeling uncomfortable. As in, ‘not able to get comfortable.’ Traditional country is where I’m most at rest, where my visual creativity is sparked and where it feels like home.
So, it makes perfect sense, that in my own home, especially as I get older and fiscally able to create a space I love, my design is always reset to as close to the farm as I can get. And it is especially important to be surrounded by a space that invokes creativity, new ideas, a space that motivates you!
Being an entrepreneur, working mostly from home is really where I prefer to be. And with that, I’m creating the space that is most inviting and relaxing to me. I’ve found some great vintage farmhouse and craft shows that I love to attend. These shows are sometime where I find my very favorite pieces.
But for affordability, I’m a sucker for shopping online. Hobby Lobby is my go-to physical store for affordable farmhouse decor. I was most recently able to help out my 1950’s Southern California pink bathroom with a little Hobby Lobby.

But as for my home office space…I love what I find online.
These items are my Target and Amazon favorites! You can check out my Farmhouse office list on Amazon HERE….
