The Most Useful Holiday Gifts Are Found In Bubbles & Things

You’ll find a lot of holiday cheer in Bubbles & Things. My Christmas shopping this year looks a lot like supporting small business as best I can, and one of my most favorite local small businesses in the San Fernando Valley is Bubbles & Things Soaps. Owner and creator, Chris Rubin, is absolutely one of the most creative women I know. Having come from a career of art direction for film, television and commercials, there’s no wonder her handmade soaps leave you in awe.

Chris is wife to Scott and mom to two of the most spunky, smart and absolutely adorable little boys I’ve ever laid eyes on! (And I think my own kids are pretty cute). Chris is smart and creative and has a really successful business going. But it never interferes with her devotion as a mom, and I truly admire that about her.

Bubbles and Things Soaps has soaps for all kinds of seasons, including the “Just Wear A Mask” Covid season. My personal favorite is “The Child” bar of soap, which I will probably keep in my closet forever and never use, due to my affinity for the one we call Baby Yoda.
