All opinions are my own…including the fact that sometimes watching movies at home with kids is nearly impossible…they always need something.
This engaging original story about Peter and how he came to be will keep the kids entertained from start to finish. Who am I kidding…I was engaged from start to finish. This movie is breathtaking! Peter (Levi Miller) must defeat Blackbeard (Hugh Jackman) to save Neverland. With the help of a few new friends, including James Hook (Garrett Hedlund) and Tiger Lily (Roony Mara), Peter will discover the destiny that has been waiting for him.

Personally, my favorite part of this film (without spoilers) was the introduction of the stunning warrior, Tiger Lily, and the magical part of Neverland she and her group reside. This paints the most beautifully colored picture of what Neverland is…for kids and adults alike.
Who are Peter’s parents? How is it Peter can fly? Who rules Neverland? Peter and Captain Hook are friends??? Say what?! This movie will leave you waiting for the next adventure in this spectacular chapter of Peter… becoming Peter Pan. You can get it on Blu-Ray and DVD from Warner Brothers Home Entertainment on Tuesday, December 22nd. |
