Charissa, Steven and their equally gorgeous children.
I recognized many of the mothers in this video and asked Charissa about it. She then told me about the company behind my tears. Coffee Blocks. Yeah, I didn’t know what they were either. Charissa’s husband, Steven and two of his friends developed a product based on their mutual “…beliefs, our love of simplicity, and our desire to bring health and happiness together.” This, according to Tom Meredith, co-founder of Coffee Blocks. “Our current lives and ambitions are geared toward healthy lifestyles that remain functional in real life scenarios where there are jobs, kids, spouses and other impactful responsibilities constantly pull us in opposite directions.”
They make butter coffee. Yes, butter coffee. And it’s in a form that is instant and makes it easy to power for the day. I met up with Tom at Crossfit High Voltage here in Burbank. This is basically a place that grows beautiful people. I’m thinking of hanging out in the parking lot for a while hoping that some of the beauty and strength wears off on me a little.
No? That’s not how that works? Bummer.
And it’s good. It’s strong, but it’s good.
These are not kcup thingamajigs. This is a package you open, put in a cup and place hot water over. Ideally, you froth it with a doohickey you can get at Ikea cheap…and it will wake you right up. But, I warn you…they are not inexpensive. This product is a whole product and whole foods that are convenient are something you need to commit to.
Bravo!
