The best babysitter in the Galaxy is making her way to Disney Channel! ‘Gabby Duran and the Unsittables’ premeires on Disney Channel, Friday, October 11th at 9pm and this is one baby-sitting gig, your entire family is going to love.
Who Is Disney Channel’s Gabby Duran?
Newcomer, Kylie Cantrall, might just be one my daughter’s new favorite Disney Channel stars! Kylie plays Gabby Duran, a courageous, and resourceful girl who constantly feels like she’s living in the shadows of her uber- polished, successful mother Dina and whip-smart younger sister Olivia. (Gabby also has a fashion style that makes me wish my closet was more polished!)
She finally finds her moment to shine when she inadvertently lands an out-of-this-world job to babysit an unruly group of very important extraterrestrial children who are hiding out on earth with their families, disguised as everyday kids. Gabby steps up to the challenge to protect these youngsters and their secret identities, and prove she’s the best babysitter in the galaxy.
Can we stop and talk about the style of Gabby Duran? I’m beginning to think that it’s not far off from the personal style of Kylie Cantrall. It’s a little bit space-agey and a whole bunch modern 90’s with a sprinkling of 80’s throwback. I love all of it! This girl’s got style, on and off screen.
My family had the huge privilege of catching a screening of the premiere episode at Disneyland! Yes, that Disneyland! We were all very entertained with this show. The writing is super clever, the film-feel of the camera work and the acting. This show is perfectly cast and left me laughing aloud more than once. Personally, I’m quite impressed and will be setting our DVR so we don’t miss the future episodes of Gabby Duran and the Unsittables.

I have to say that Gabby Duran is the most incredible alien unsittable of this series of babysitting of things that comes out of the night and when I tell you she is very good at it so in the future if I have any alien I will call Gabby to come over to watch them for me while I go out to do her thing’ I really like how and when she does the job get done don’t matter how extreme it is and that is she is called the unsittable!
