I am NOT a runner. But I still run…er, jog. Ok, maybe I basically move my body slightly faster than a speed walker, but I still run. Not only does it not really feel good (at first) but I’m pretty sure there are people watching me run who contemplate calling 911 fearing I may be having a stroke or something. It’s never been pretty. I’m overweight and running flat out hurts.
However…and I mean this, running is the ONLY thing to change the shape of my body and burn that extra fat I pretend I’m storing in case of the next World War.

Fleet Feet Burbank is starting a running group just for moms!!! It’s a 5k Training program structured to help you cross the finish line for the first time, or the 10th time, in just 8‐10 weeks. The program not only includes a training plan with walk and run options, but a professional coach, and a team atmosphere with the camaraderie of moms just like you.
