The kids and I headed to Discovery Cube LA to have breakfast with George a couple Sunday’s back. What I love about DCLA is how they keep the exhibits moving. It doesn’t get boring for the kids. It seems something is new, or has been moved every time we go in.
And it’s right here in our backyard, practically! I can’t thank them enough for bringing a children’s museum here in the Valley.
But, exiting even sooner is the smaller exhibit they have upstairs with Spooky Science. This exhibit will end November 1st.
They’ve got a black widow spider, tarantula and some millipedes on display, not to mention a shelf of crazy pumpkins with names. My favorite? There is a pumpkin called “One Too Many.” Hilarious. Go…and you’ll see why.
DCLA will be hosting The Science of Gingerbread again, as well as a Gingerbread Competition!
The Science of Gingerbread will open November 27th and go through January 3rd. If you’re interested in constructing some amazing display of gingerbread genius to enter the competition, get the details HERE.... and download an entry form. There’s so much to do at this local favorite of ours! |
