I got a speeding ticket in the fall in La Canada.
My daughter was with me.
It wasnt too bad, but I had not had a ticket in years! I was 18 the last time I got one and I, personally, had a good excuse for that one. I’ll stand by that excuse to this day, if you ask me.
I still had to pay for my ticket, but I opted to take an online traffic school to make sure no points went on my license. I enrolled in Comedy Traffic School and took my time getting it done.
I actually really liked it and I was refreshed on a lot of new and old things when it comes to rules of the road.
After completing it, I told my husband I thought everyone should have to take a refresher course like that every 5-10 years. For real.
I recently saw in the paper that Flappers Comedy Club is hosting a Comedy Traffic School this coming weekend! The instructor will be Jeff Hodge and it’s a 7 hour class on Saturday, March 2nd.
I’m just suggesting that this could be a good way to help with that ticket you have right now…or even to kill a day in a comedy club with a comedian who’s going to refresh your mind on some of the rules of the road.
If I could have done a one day class at our local comedy club…I probably would have booked that sitter.
