Burbank Singing Star Competition Will Support The Local Burbank USD Music Programs

The 2nd Annual Burbank Singing Star will take place on Sunday, April 9th, 2017, at Luther Middle School in Burbank from 12pm-6pm. This year’s edition will feature TWO KIDS’ SINGING CONTESTS and an OUTDOOR FAMILY FESTIVAL that includes Food Trucks, FACE PAINTING and Live Music. The day of Family Fun will have activities for children including dance performances, martial arts demonstrations, music lessons and other interactive stations.  GET YOUR TICKETS NOW!  The family festival is free for all to attend.  Contests @ 1:30pm & 3:30pm, Festival from 12pm-6pm.

There will be one singing contest for ages 5-9 (1pm) and another for ages 10-14 (3:30pm) held during the event.  CELEBRITY JUDGES include Andrew Lane, Producer on HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL and HANNAH MONTANA, and Peggi Blu from AMERICAN IDOL.  Jhanessa Equila, last year’s champion, will be there to perform her original single, produced by Burbank Singing Star as part of the Grand Prize package.  PRIZES for this year’s winners include full length Piano Keyboards, Guitars, Ukuleles, Singing and Songwriting Lessons, Recording Studio Sessions and Headshots.
