❤️Happy Mother’s Day❤️ This was one of ❤️Happy Mother’s Day❤️
This was one of my favorite pit stops in the many cross country road trips I took with my kids. I literally said, let’s take a picture with mustaches…and they all said “okay!”
I have three amazing children who are funny, smart, kind and full of energy. I am definitely a lucky one.
As painful as it is to not have my own mother here in this Earth with me, I pray for all of you a celebration with your own mom or mother figure in your life..today and always.
It’s so short, this life we have, and if you’ve got the chance to love on your mom today…Do. It. ❤️

I don’t buy into the whole “New Year, New You” stuff.
I think it’s dangerous to think you have to be anyone other than yourself, as you are. That’s a crap ton of expectation that could lead to a lot of disappointment.
However…I do think it’s another year, one day at a time, to have more opportunity to be the BEST YOU, you can be.
And to that I say Happy New Year!
Also…I was born in the wrong era. And I will take all chances to celebrate “The 20’s” anytime I can…with feathers and flappers.
I have impressed myself! These we’re not hard to I have impressed myself! These we’re not hard to make at all and I can’t wait to let the kids have them this evening.

I used to get so mad when someone would tell me that happiness is a choice. When all the circumstances around me sometimes don’t feel very joyful, how are you supposed to choose happiness in the middle of it?
I’ve learned it’s 100% truth.
The responsibility falls on me.
No one around me is capable of stealing my joy, unless I let them.
No one around me is responsible for my happiness.
I have to make up my mind every single day (and sometimes many times a day) how I’m going to handle it all.
