…in the morning, in the evening, after dinner, with desserts, with friends, by myself writing in Starbucks….
Burbank has many, many great places to get delicious coffee. Romancing The Bean, Porto’s, A bazillion Starbucks locations and Simply Coffee are just a few.
But, since cutting back on spending in our home, I’ve been partial to finding good, inexpensive, quality coffee to make from my own kitchen. Seem impossible? It’s not.
I had the luxury to give Gevalia a try recently. I didn’t even know Gevalia was a coffee…and I suppose that’s because it’s only been introduced to the United States near the end of 2011 by Kraft. It’s been an original Swiss favorite for years…and I have to say, I can see why…and not just because they’re capable of creating clever commercials. 🙂
I am no expert in the field of what makes a good coffee…I just know that I’ve tasted plenty to know what I like and what I don’t.
I really like Gevalia.
Really rich, delicious..possibly even buttery and creamy…and that’s not only because of the pound of Heavy Whipping Cream I use in my home brews.
No, really, it’s not.
I am a hard sell when it comes to making coffee at home. There are certain brands I will not buy for home use, but I also don’t want to spend a lot of money on my favorites. I have found that Gevalia is comparable with the Starbucks price in the grocery store. But I never buy coffee in the grocery store without coupons and sales…and then I stock up.
Well, look here. Gevalia has coupons…..
I frequently see Gevalia sporting the yellow tags at Ralph’s.
I also found a coupon for 20% off and Free Shipping!
I really do recommend this brand for making delicious coffee at home. I am pretty certain you won’t be disappointed.
Kraft foods sent me a sample of Gevalia Coffee in exchange for review. The opinions expressed are my own.
