I said around me…because as much as I try, I swing a golf club like a softball bat.
Golf is a hard skill to master…and to do it at 6 or 7 years old, that’s just amazing.
In case you have a golfer or two in your house, (it might even be you), I thought I’d share info on a cute documentary premiering Thursday, December 12th, only on Netflix.
‘The Short Game’ captures a handful of amazingly passionate kids who simultaneously pursue friendship and first-place. These kids from all around the globe come to compete in the Pinehurst World Championship in North Carolina. You’d be hard-pressed to find a more skilled group of competitors than the seven-year olds featured in this film.
As a parent, I can only imagine the kind of dedication it takes to help your children get to this point at this age. It really is a dream for many of us to be the best in the world at something, and these wee ones, well, they’re about there.
Kudos to all parents out there supporting the dreams of your kids!
Currently in my house, I’m helping my kids pursue their dreams of Rainbow Looming. They’re getting quite good…it may just take them all the way through Elementary School.
You can find more information about it at their website HERE…
